about

This is another song about anxiety and insomnia (again, written before this whole crisis, but it applies more intensely now). I go through periods of anxiety and insomnia and I'm sure many of you know the feeling, especially now. For me, anxiety is heightened by the fact that I have young children to worry about too. (I have 2, but enough anxiety for the 4 in this song).

lyrics

Lyrics:
Well I know the weight of the world
Like I know the faces of my four little baby girls
And I’ve seen the man in the moon
'Cause he comforts me each night
As I lie awake in my room
As I go searching through my soul
To find the hole
Where the trouble get in
My faith has lost its hold
But Lordy, my heart
Has lost its way again
So as I watch those clouds roll across the plains
I'm ready for a good rain

Yeah, as I watch those clouds roll across the plains
I'm on my knees again
