about

This song is pretty self explanatory. Everybody's got their own hidden struggles that you don't understand so don't judge. I sometimes like to express important ideas in the dumbest way possible. Also, this song contains perhaps my worst guitar solo I've ever released. When I thought of this song, this is precisely how I wanted it to sound.

lyrics

LYRICS:

Don’t ask me to your barbecue
I might rather stay at home
Don’t ask to the movies
I might rather go alone
I don’t mean to be antisocial
I’m just little unorthodox
I’m kinda like an antique clock
Sometimes I tick sometimes I tock
But you can’t understand me man, till you walked a mile in my socks

Everybody’s different
Yeah I read it in a magazine
But I declare I love you
If you’re pink, polka dotted or green
But people are complicated
Like the vernal equinox
You can’t put folks in a little box
You don’t understand a wolf, ‘cause you understand a fox
And you can’t understand me man till you walked a mile in my socks

I’ve had my share of hard knocks
So don’t judge a person by the way she walks
‘Cause one mans pier is another man’s dock
One gets mumps and one gets chicken pox
One like cream cheese and one likes lox
But you can’t understand me man till you walked a mile in my socks
